Environmental stewardship is a core principle guiding our daily operations. We adhere strictly to environmental regulations and set high standards for environmental protection.

PEAL has the international environmental certification of its Environmental Management system according to the UNE-EN-ISO 14001:2015 standard

The Integrated Management System incorporates both quality and environmental standards. All processes and structures within the organization are thoroughly documented and regularly assessed, particularly those related to the environment.

Environmental management plan

We are aware of the importance of rigorously applying each of the aspects that demonstrate PEAL’s constant commitment to the environment.

Environmental management plan

Every project includes an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) that aims to align with legal and other relevant requirements, company policies, objectives, and goals. It also implements controls related to environmental protection, including air quality. The EMP applies to all company activities and those of its subcontractors to minimize their environmental impact.

  • Determine the aspects of the environment that are impacted by the activity.
  • Prioritize the impacts based on their significance.
  • Implement measures and controls to reduce or prevent harmful effects on the environment.
  • Aim to minimize the environmental impact as much as possible, focusing on reducing or eliminating impacts wherever feasible.

Good environmental practices

The adoption of measures included in the PEAL Good Practices Manual provides a series of benefits:

  • Conserve natural resources: Reducing unnecessary consumption. Reducing pollution.
  • Reduce the cost of waste management by reducing its generation, promoting its reuse and recycling.
  • Enhance public perception.
  • Promote practices that align with sustainable development goals and business targets.

Waste management

For every project, we estimate the quantity and types of waste that will be produced during the work phase.

  • Waste area: Establishment of a suitable place for waste storage.
  • Separation: Segregation of different waste
  • Labelled: Have enough drums and containers and identify them with labels. Keep drums closed.
  • Authorized manager: Qualified waste managers are responsible for handling waste appropriately based on its classification. By selecting managers who find innovative ways to reuse waste, we aim to maximize efficiency and profitability in waste management.
  • Subcontractors: Subcontractors are informed of the essential environmental regulations before starting any work. This ensures that they are aware of and adhere to these requirements during their activities.
