Social Responsibility

We promote development in the territory where we carry out our productive activity and contribute to the organization of society, seeking to become promoters of the generation of collective wealth.

Principles and Social Policy

We focus our Corporate Social Responsibility on local development through joint participation with communities and governments, in decisions and actions that seek effective and efficient solutions to the problems caused by poverty and the lack of equity, employment, governance and environmental sustainability.

Ten Principles

These ten principles are based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Declaration of Principles of the International Labor Organization, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
1

Businesses should support and respect the protection of universally recognized human rights within their sphere of influence.

2

Businesses should make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.

3

Businesses should uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.

4

Businesses should support the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labor.

5

Businesses should support the elimination of child labor.

6

Businesses should support the abolition of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

7

Companies should maintain a preventive approach that favors the environment.

8

Businesses should encourage initiatives that promote greater environmental responsibility.

9

Businesses should encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

10

Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.

We maintain a strong commitment to transparency and open dialogue with all stakeholders, including local communities, non-governmental organizations, and government authorities. We strive to communicate clearly and honestly about our operations, listen to community concerns, and work together to find constructive solutions to the challenges we face.
